Thanks for dropping by, I'm Richard P. Ley, but my friends and family call me Rick, and I hope you will as well.
I love to write and tell stories. Over the years, I have written a lot, but only began publishing most of my stories in the last few years. My first novel, 2014, Escape from Serfdom, was out just a short time when the publisher went out of business. After a while, I decided to revise and expand the story, and it became The Ship of State. The series has done very well and expanded to six novels.
I've always wanted to see my stories on the screen, so I began studying screenwriting and my first screenplay, A Twist of Fate is based on my novel, FATE: Book One is in production.
